Nimma Bakshi is a Managing Director with PwC's US Corporate Advisory Services. Based out of San Francisco, Nimma is a leader within PwC's Advisory Alliances Group, heading one of PwC's Strategic Alliances. He is also a contributing member of PwC's Global Technology Consulting Strategic Council.
With over 20 years of experience in the professional services sector, Nimma is recognized for his leadership of business transformation & technology alliances, negotiating partnering business models and operating high growth joint venture initiatives.
Nimma has managed alliance operations in across sectors spanning: technology and communications, health care and life sciences, financial services and insurance, energy and utilities, consumer products as well as the public sector. In doing so, Nimma has led multiple technology powered business innovation efforts & multi-party collaborative service models.
Nimma is experienced in discussing how alliances can leverage the impact of emerging technologies such as cloud computing and big data to impact business models and improve productivity. In terms of external organizations, Nimma is the Past-President of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals, Silicon Valley (ASAP-SV). He is a certified alliance professional (ASAP CA-AM). Nimma is an active contributor to the Women In Technology, International (WITI) Annual Summits. He has also served on multiple corporate advisory boards in regards to business partnering.
Nimma's education includes a MBA with honors from the University of Chicago, a MS in Operations Research with honors, and BSEE from the University of Maryland. Nimma, his wife and children live outside of San Francisco, CA
