Boston Leadership Team
Regional Director - Deborah Stark
Deb Stark is an award-winning marketing professional with demonstrated success increasing profitability and visibility for technology companies and market research firms across multiple verticals and geographies. Currently at Charles River Development, a leading investment management solutions company based in Burlington, MA, she creates content rich marketing programs and manages field events for the Americas.
Deb was formerly the Director of Marketing at CXO Media's CIO Executive Council and was responsible for brand positioning, demand generation, sales enablement, and a variety of virtual and in-person events. Through extensive collaboration across IDG Enterprise, Deb increased revenue through strategic lead generation programs including a recent Executive Women in IT multi-city workshop series.
Prior to CXO Media, Deb was the marketing director for Industry Insights at IDC and implemented brand and lead management programs for the financial services, government, manufacturing and retail sectors. Prior to marketing research, Deb provided marketing services for technology companies including Financial Fusion, Sybase and Powersoft. Deb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Northeastern University and is a co-chair within the WITI chapter in Boston.
Membership Chair - Shefali Korke
Shefali brings a wealth of experience to WITI Boston with an extensive background in program management and business transformation. She began her technology career with EMC, based in Hopkington, Mass., supporting sales, marketing and engineering groups with executive dashboards and data analytics. Most recently Shefali designed, monitored and executed performance improvement plans for M&As (mergers and acquisitions). Shefali joined WITI in March 2013 and has found ways to assist with member outreach and retention. Shefali holds a MBA in International Business from Northeastern University, an MS from Brandeis in Computer Science, holds a Six Sigma Green Belt and speaks fluent Hindu.
Alliance Chair - Nirva Fereshetian
Nirva Fereshetian is a highly skilled senior Information Technology leader, experienced in managing projects and people with an interdisciplinary background in Architecture/Construction/Technology and a capacity to bridge that knowledge to enable informed business decisions and increased productivity.
She is currently the Chief Information Officer at CBT Architects, a professional design firm providing services nationally and internationally in architecture, interior design, urban design and site planning. She is responsible for aligning business technology strategy to meet primary business objectives. She specializes in leading and managing technology solutions in creative design environments, technology adoption and change management. Results driven Information Systems Executive delivering Practice Services (Building Information Modeling), Knowledge Services (Business Intelligence, Collaboration, Corporate Knowledge) and IT Services (Infrastructure Management, Vendor Relations and Application Deployment). Her experience includes delivery of cost effective information services, outsourced business models, virtualization, cloud computing, collaborative technologies and business analytics. She is a member of AIA CIO Large Firm Roundtable and AEC/IT Leaders organization.
Sponsorship Chair - Stephanie Bergin
Stephanie Bergin brings with her over 15 years of successful consultative sales experience and has been involved in the full sales lifecycle, excelling in client relations, new business development, key account management and training. Her industry experience includes Medical and Industrial Technology, IT, Communications and Consumer Products. Stephanie, served as a sales executive for an industry leading firm focused on consumer trends, strategic planning, and customer service and satisfaction.
Today, Stephanie is a Client Relations Manager at Boston Engineering Corporation, which is a high technology, product development consulting firm. Her responsibilities include, identifying and managing business relationships and opportunities, establishing Boston Engineering as a premiere engineering service provider.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Merrimack College. She is passionately involved in many causes, charities and is a member of both CCYP and SSYP. She resides on Cape Cod where she enjoys being surrounded by family and friends and the many comforts and activities of the seaside community.
Social Media Chair - Cheryl Healey
Cheryl Healey is WITI Boston's social media chair and has been specializing in Collaboration Sales Engineering for 7+ years. With over 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications and IT industry combined, she is a seasoned Collaboration expert. Currently Cheryl holds many Cisco Certifications including CCNA and CCNP Collaboration and is focused on Collaboration Tools that enable cross-functional and global Teamwork. Her industry experience includes providing Technical Sales Support for clients and the development of Collaboration solution proposals for customers based on their technical and business requirements in response to RFP requests and direct interaction with her clients. She acts as the primary point of contact with clients and VARs for all pre-sales phases, including Visio designs and RFP responses, to ensure timely delivery of proposals and accuracy of solution designs. She also has previous experience in Project Management, Scopes of Work, End User Training.
Cheryl studied at Suffolk University and migrated to Collaboration Technologies at the beginning of the VoIP development. She is an ardent supporter of various volunteer organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Community Youth Sport Organizations, and various networking associations for women. In her spare time, this passionate Soccer mom also enjoys kickboxing, Yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
