Operational Excellence and Execution – Critical Steps to Reaching New Heights on the Corporate Ladder

Monday, May 16, 2005
7:30 - 9:30 AM

One of the puzzling trends in women’s leadership is the small percentage of women who pursue jobs and careers with operational responsibility. Women flood marketing groups and HR departments getting stuck in these “pink ghettos”. Few make the leap into positions with P&L responsibility. In many industries and companies, operational experience is critical to building a strong leadership portfolio and achieving career advancement and success. This session explores different corporate environments, critical values that women bring to business and the importance of P&L experience to leadership development. France Lampron, President of Nuvosoft, Inc., Jennifer Francis, Senior Vice President/Partner, CB Richard Ellis and Jana Eggers, General Manager of Intuit's Innovation Lab will provide candid advice on how successful business unit management can provide tremendous career satisfaction and help you climb the corporate ladder.
