Maria Battaglia

Vice President Marketing & Community Relations
Maria has over 15 years of senior experience in corporate marketing and corporate communications in big and small company settings targeting consumer and business-to-business audiences. She has held senior-level positions with NBC (GE), IBM, Cambridge Technology Partners, Monster.com and Polaris Venture Partners. While at Polaris, she also worked with many of the seed and early-stage companies within Polaris' $2 billion portfolio.

At MONSTER, Maria is responsible for both corporate brand integration and philanthropic disaster relief initiatives. She is responsible for leading an effort for Monster World Wide to create the first disaster relief coalition with other online employment brands. This initiative, supported by the United States Department of Labor, seeks to help survivors rebuild their lives and their communities. Maria began at Monster as the Vice President of Corporate Communications, responsible for sponsorships, events, marketing, internal communications and brand alliances. Her team is working to reignite the monster.com brand across local markets making it more relevant to more people as a career destination site that provides seekers and employers with “Help to a Better Future.”

Anne brings 10+ years’ IT journalism experience and an MBA to the position of editor in chief of the CIO Decisions Media Group at TechTarget. The media group includes CIO Decisions magazine, the only publication serving the midmarket CIO, and web sites SearchCIO.com and SearchSMB.com. Previously the chief marketer at a network security events company in Boston, she brings strong business experience and a deep understanding of IT challenges to her role. Anne is a 10-year veteran of Computerworld, where in various senior editing positions she led award-winning news teams and launched new sections. She has won multiple news awards from the Association of Business Publication Editors and was a finalist for a Jesse H. Neal National Business Award for best news coverage. Earlier in her career she was a daily newspaper journalist and freelancer for such publications as The Hartford Courant, The Boston Globe and Newsweek. She holds an MBA with honors from Boston University.

Diana Nicholson

Senior Vice President Product
Diana is responsible for Monster’s seeker and employer products, encompassing the website experience, product set, and online functionality for both job seekers and employers. Diana joined Monster in 2000 and has held several management roles, including vice president of product, vice president of MonsterCampus, and vice president of MonsterLearning.

Prior to joining Monster, Diana served as Director of Business Development at GetConnected, a comparison-shopping site for connectivity services including cell phones, broadband internet access, and other electronics and communications equipment, where she was responsible for business development, strategy and product.

Diana began her career in banking and finance, working for institutions such as First Boston, Swiss Bank and Barclays. Managing credit risk for the trading of derivatives products, Diana worked with financial institution clients such as hedge funds, banks, and insurance companies.

A graduate of SUNY Albany with a B.S. in Finance, Diana received her MBA from Harvard Business School, where she concentrated on general management and e-commerce strategy. She is a member of the HBS Network of Women Alumnae.

Kim Provencher, Sr. Vice President
Keystone Partners
Kim consults with organizations and senior executives on complex career transition and workforce planning issues. Kim has over 15 years of experience in training and business development. Prior to joining Keystone, she was a senior trainer with Dale Carnegie Training. As a certified Dale Carnegie instructor, Kim has taught courses on human relations, communication, leadership, sales, public speaking and presentation skills to thousands of people from students to executives. At Keystone, she regularly trains groups on Networking, Your 30 Second Commercial and How to Work a Room.

Kim holds a Master of Science degree in Adult and Organizational Learning from Suffolk University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Bryant University. She is an active member of the Northeast Human Resources Association and Human Resource Leadership Forum.

Kathy Winters
IS Project Manager, Accellent

Kathy found her new job in the Information Services department at Accellent in June after networking offline and online.

Kathy has over 17 years experience in the Information Technology fields of financial services, medical devices and education. Kathy is experienced in IT operations, strategic planning, IT infrastructure deployment and management, project management, change and risk management, enterprise vendor and procurement management, cost improvement initiatives and employee development.

Prior to joining Accellent, Kathy served as IT Director and Director of Enterprise IT Services at Clark Consulting, a financial services company headquartered in North Barrington, IL. She managed IT operations at the corporate headquarters, oversaw enterprise information systems, developed enterprise IT standards and policies, and planned and executed operating and capital budgets. She managed multiple infrastructure projects including WAN, Active Directory and Exchange implementations, VoIP, Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity and Enterprise information systems including CRM, accounting and HR. She established and managed an enterprise-wide IT Vendor and Procurement Department.

Prior to Clark Consulting, Kathy established a computer lab at Owatonna Christian School in Owatonna, MN where she taught secondary computer science and math classes.

Kathy earned a BS degree in education from Pillsbury College. Kathy received Certification in Project Management from Northeastern University and PMP Certification from Project Management Institute.
