Miriam is the Chief Information Officer, Market Facing Functions at The Coca-Cola Company. She is responsible for Global Information Technology strategy, process definition, application development, and delivery for the Global Marketing and Commercial Leadership and Global Technical Functions. The application landscape for Global Marketing & Commercial Leadership includes solutions for our Global Brands, Media, Design, Creative, Interactive Marketing, Marketing Research, Global Properties ( Olympics, FIFA, etc), and Global Customer teams. These solutions range from consumer websites like My Coke Rewards, Digital Asset Management solutions, to Customer and Marketing Analytic solutions. The application landscape for the Technical Function includes solutions for our Supply Chain, Science, Product Quality, Environmental, and R&D teams. These solutions range from Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools to Manufacturing and Laboratory Information Management solutions. Knowledge Management, community and productivity tools are required by all functions. The capabilities Miriam and her team develop are deployed across the 200 countries in which The Coca-Cola Company operates.

Miriam joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1991 in the Finance Division working with international locations driving financial process consistency and improvements in analysis and reporting. While in the Finance Division, Miriam established the Company’s information standards capability called ISSCOM. Miriam moved to the Marketing Division as the Director of INforM and managed the creation and expansion of Coca-Cola’s global Business Intelligence (BI) capability. Miriam drove the integration of existing BI solutions across Europe and Coca-Cola North America (CCNA). She then took a leadership position in CCNA responsible for the process, operation and integration of North America Volume Reporting (VALUE) and Market Insights solutions. Miriam then joined the Global Information Technology Group in 2002. She has held positions of increasing responsibility in Global IT. She established the consumer facing IT team that partners with Interactive Marketing and drove the IT business cases for Interactive Marketing, PLM and Innovation Pipeline Management. Miriam started her career with Andersen Consulting and worked across a variety of industries including Healthcare, Utilities, and Telecommunications before focusing on Banking. She has a Business Administration degree with an Accounting concentration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
