Elizabeth Mayo is a Global Product Manager in the c-Si Direct Materials Group at Applied Materials overseeing the new product release pipeline. This includes market sizing, product definition, materials specification, customer engagement strategy and product launch. Prior to joining the c-Si Direct Materials Group, Elizabeth worked in the Energy and Environmental Solutions group on the development and downstream marketing of SunFab Thin Film Solar Modules. During her time at Applied Materials, Elizabeth has held roles in engineering, reliability analysis, field support, and product management. Elizabeth also serves as President of the Applied Materials' Women's Professional Development Network in Santa Clara.
Before joining Applied Materials, Elizabeth worked at Global Photonic Energy Corporation (GPEC), an organic photovoltaic patent and licensing start-up, where she served in a dual research and business development capacity. Elizabeth's responsibilities at GPEC included monitoring the company's intellectual property portfolio and modeling expected research progress to project future market competitiveness.
Elizabeth received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from California Institute of Technology, and holds a Master's of Science Education and a Bachelor's of Chemistry from Florida State University.
