Liz Davidson
Founder and CEO
Financial Finesse
Liz Davidson is founder and CEO of Financial Finesse, an Internet-based company dedicated to educating women about investing and financial planning. Financial Finesse provides unbiased financial information through its website, national seminars and a radio program. A nationally recognized expert on long-term investing, Davidson holds an MBA from UCLA and successfully founded and managed Davidson Andrade, an investment company with over $35 million under management.
While working in the financial industry, Davidson observed a shortage of female investors, motivating her to create a financial education seminar for her female associates focusing on the importance of investment planning; the response was overwhelmingly positive. A year later, Davidson expanded the concept into Financial Finesse.
Davidson's passion for empowering women has led to her active involvement in numerous organizations that help girls and women. She assists the Teen Entrepreneur's Program at the YWCA in East Palo Alto by teaching teenage girls about saving and investing. She is also involved with Independent Means, a company that offers products and services that help girls achieve financial independence. Davidson is a member of the Women's Foundation Planned Giving Board, an organization that provides seed funding to small non-profits focused on financial security and independence for women.
Davidson currently hosts a live weekly radio show, also called Financial Finesse, on Silicon Valley's Business Radio 1220 KBZS.
