WITI Member Karen Morphy Joins ReCellular as Senior Business Development Manager
ReCellular, the world’s leading resource for cell phone recycling, refurbishment and resale, has announced that Karen Morphy of Folsom, CA, has joined the firm as Senior Business Development Manager. In her 30+-year career in business development, Karen has specialized in IT Services and Electronic Sustainability industries. She brings to ReCellular a proven track record of successful revenue and profit growth, account management, customer satisfaction and employee development.
Karen enhances ReCellular’s global credentials having led large multi-national technology and business development teams in her various roles at General Motors, Electronic Data Systems, and Xerox. Additionally, she grew international client relationships in the consumer electronics sustainability industry while at Solectron and Flextronics.
”ReCellular’s comprehensive services and leadership in data protection has made us the go-to company for handling retired corporate cell phones,” said Steve Manning, CEO of ReCellular. “Karen brings a great mix of experience and skill to help us continue growing in that market.”
Most recently Karen provided Gartner’s IT research and consulting services to departments and agencies in the State of California. She is a co-founder of the Sacramento Women in Technology organization and currently serves on the Leadership Council as its Program Director.
