Regional Director - Dana Vickey

Dana Vickey is a seasoned professional who has over 20 years experience in strategy, business development, and program management for start-ups to corporations with over $60B in revenue.

Vickey works for EMC Corporation where she develops marketing strategy and execution for EMC Strategic Alliances, a $1.2B global organization. Strategic partner focus includes Systems Integrators and Outsourcers.

Prior to EMC, Vickey was a co-founder and partner at MCG, a boutique-consulting firm, and focused on organic and inorganic growth vehicles for Health care and Technology companies. Clients included VeriSign, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, ASSA Abloy, Cognos, IBM, EPCGlobal, Pfizer and others.

Before MCG, Vickey was Vice President of Strategic Business Development for Lightbridge (NASDAQ: LTBG) where she led a group engaged in new business opportunities for the ecommerce and telecommunications markets. Under Vickey's leadership, her team built and introduced Lightbridge's online security and risk product suite to the marketplace, which was embraced by eBay, VeriSign, Sprint and other Fortune 500s.

As the Vice President of Marketing for Torrent Systems, Inc. (now IBM), she focused on market and product development to re-position the Torrent's market offering, and positioned the company for successful acquisition.

As the Director of Corporate and Educational Sales for MathSoft, Vickey was responsible for 50% of MathSoft's sales revenue. During her tenure, she developed and launched the Educational Division, which became 25% of corporate revenue within three years. Vickey began her high-tech career at a start-up, Easel Corporation (now IBM) where she spent seven years in Sales and Marketing roles.

Vickey graduated with honors from Northeastern University with an MBA in High-Tech Marketing. She was a full-fellowship student at University of Georgia for graduate studies in Biochemistry, and graduated with honors from University of Vermont with a B.S. PMP certified.

Network Coordinator - Bethann Pepoli

After a successful career in the public sector, Bethann Pepoli joined one of the most successful, dynamic technology pioneers in industry today. Bethann is the Chief Technology Officer for the State and Local Government Division at EMC Corporation, the world leader in infrastructure management solutions. Prior to this, she was the Acting Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Deputy CIO for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Before taking over as CIO, Bethann was the Chief Operating Officer of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Information Technology Division.

During her career, Bethann has received the Massachusetts Governor's Special Achievement Award three times (1998, 2000, and 2002), represented the Commonwealth on the Massachusetts Technology Development Council (MTDC).

Bethann has a BS of Computer Information Systems from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts, and an Executive MBA degree from Suffolk University. Born and raised in Somerville, MA, Bethann currently resides in Canton, Massachusetts.

Program Chair - Deborah Stark

Deb Stark is an award-winning marketing professional with demonstrated success increasing profitability and visibility for technology companies and market research firms across multiple verticals. Deb is committed to increasing public relations opportunities for WITI partners, improving networking opportunities for women members and organizing the program content for the Boston chapter.

Deb was formerly the Director of Marketing at CXO Media's CIO Executive Council and was responsible for brand positioning, demand generation, sales enablement, and a variety of virtual and in-person events. Through extensive collaboration across IDG Enterprise, Deb increased revenue through strategic lead generation programs including a recent Executive Women in IT multi-city workshop series.

Prior to CXO Media, Deb was the marketing director for Industry Insights at IDC and implemented brand and lead management programs for the financial services, government, manufacturing and retail sectors. Prior to marketing research, Deb provided marketing services for technology companies including Financial Fusion, Sybase and Powersoft. Deb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Northeastern University and is a co-chair within the WITI chapter in Boston.
