Patricia Gallup
Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder, PC Connection

Patricia Gallup is Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of PC Connection, Inc., an award-winning direct reseller of personal computers, software and peripherals based in Keene, New Hampshire. While back-packing on the Appalachian Trail in 1976, Patricia, a budding archaeologist, met her future business partner David Hall. Their chance meeting and combined vision led to the creation of PC Connection, an innovative company which has changed the way people purchase computers. Founded in 1982, PC Connection today has become an industry leader known for offering convenience and value, plus exemplary service and support via the telephone and overnight delivery.

Pat earned her degree in Anthropology in 1979 from the University of Connecticut, and in 1994 received their Distinguished Alumni Award. Her studies prepared her for working with people and understanding what makes them tick. Her interest in business began when she worked for the Public Archaeology Survey Team Inc. (PAST), a student-run company that conducted archaeological surveys and tested potential construction sites for cultural remains.

As a leading women business owner, Pat has participated in a number of national political forums, including business round tables during the current administration with Vice President Al Gore and Secretary of Labor Robert Reich. She is a founding and current member of the Board of Directors of MONADNET, Inc., an organization dedicated to strengthening the Keene/Monadnock region's access to the internet. She has appeared on Working Woman's list of the top 50 women business owners in the United States for three years in a row. She frequently participates as a panel speaker in many forums across the country including, Harvard Business School Women's Students Association and The George Washington University Top 50 Women Business Owners Forum. She serves as an inspiration and role model to working women and aspiring entrepreneurs across the county. Through hard work, business acumen and vision, Pat has guided PC Connection to national prominence.
