Excerpt from nomination: "Mary is a role model for any one in the technology and manufacturing sector, and especially for women. She is smart, educated, experienced, and applies it all to the Intel environment. Mary can see above what most of us can see, far higher and far beyond, and bring vision to the Intel jobs and groups where she participates. As a senior manager, and one with a family, Mary has made strides from sheer hard work, and from caring, and applying it all. Mary learns and grows wherever she goes, and the group where she works, also grows. Mary started at Intel in the Artificial Intelligence group. She has held a number of strategic roles in our factory groups, and in technology groups particularly. Mary knows the business. Mary has been successful, and has been progressive in her job responsibility and pay. Mary works hard and stays focused. She is not afraid to take risks, to keep learning, and to try and fail. She just keeps on going. Mary's current role is a fairly new one. It is good to see a women in this key Intel stragegic role ..."
