WITI Chicago Leadership Team
The WITI Chicago Board of 2003 has decided to focus on some key aspects of the WITI mission. Helping women to further develop core competencies in all levels of technology and technology organizations will be further accomplished through strategic alliances and partnerships.
For example, several WITI members are already involved with the IT Empowerment initiative to help encourage young women to choose careers in science and technology. Several other members are involved with special interest groups exploring the latest and greatest technology tools, tips, and future trends.
In addition, the WITI Chicago Board of 2003 is dedicated to increasing the number of women in executive roles in technology and technology-based companies in Chicago. To do so, the Board will support events and identify opportunities to provide key networking/mentoring forums for our members.
