About Our Speaker(s)

Chad Horany is the Founder of {algo+rhythm}, formally known as Rassai Interactive.

Since 2001, Chad has served as {algo+rhythm}'s chief executive officer where he is responsible for reinforcing the company's overall vision, user experience innovation, core values and strategic direction. Chad has played a central role in helping the company's clients capitalize on the convergence of media and technology—developing numerous award winning User Experience projects. Under Chad’s leadership, the agency has grown to include more than 350 clients nationwide including American Airlines, NBC, Pier 1 Imports, Sony, Reliant Energy, Helzberg Diamonds, Dillard’s, Mountain Dew & United Way.

Chad speaks regularly and serves on a number of industry and academic advisory groups, associations and committees. Professional affiliations include: IxDA, IAI, MindMeld, IAB, AAF, TAB Tech Fort Worth. Chad attended Texas Christian University in which he graduated Cum Laude and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with an Emphasis in E-Business.

{algo+rhythm} is a User Experience Design & Development Agency that conceives, designs & deploys compelling experiences for some of today’s most respected brands.

Christi Day serves as an online Spokesperson for Southwest Airlines, the nation’s largest airline in terms of domestic Customers boarded. Christi specializes in Emerging Media and web 2.0.

In addition to her online media relations duties, Christi works as the “voice” behind the Southwest Airlines Twitter account (@Southwestair) and as a moderator and blogger on Nuts About Southwest (www.blogsouthwest.com). She intimately understands the reach of the media and has been the author of several successful story placements creating positive buzz for Southwest Airlines.

A Fort Worth native, Christi graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism.

Bethany Williams is a results-oriented executive with more than 25 years of experience driving complex initiatives including healthcare operations, revenue cycle operations, new business development and sales and marketing.

Bethany is a client executive in the North Texas Healthcare sector at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Prior to joining PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Bethany served as the DFW/Houston Market Vice President for Perot Systems where she worked as a trusted advisor to client senior management teams, helping them to solve their unique healthcare challenges.

Prior to her position at Perot Systems, Bethany served in the position of Business Development Director for GE Healthcare. Prior to GE, she worked for 10 years for IDX Systems Corporation as the International Product Strategy Director for their financial, administrative, and EDI product lines. Bethany has also served in key managerial roles during a ten-year tenure at Sharp Healthcare in California where she worked as the Access and Patient Accounting Director.

Bethany earned her BBA in healthcare administration. She serves on the Board of Directors for the North Texas ACHE and is a member of the Women Leading Business (WBL) national leadership organization. She has a book out on women in business called 'Winning Strategies for Women'. She will continue to 'give back' to women everywhere by mentoring, speaking, and keeping up with her popular motivational and educational blog.

Gayle Anderson Few CFOs can claim an 8% compounded annual revenue growth rate combined with significantly higher profit margins during their tenure with a company, but Gayle Anderson can. Match.com has seen tremendous financial success under Gayle’s direction and she keeps the company focused, ensuring it remains poised for continued growth while meeting targets. Earning Dallas Business Journal’s CFO of the Year award in 2008, Gayle maps out business strategy, oversees the company's internal financial and accounting practices, and provides financial data and analysis to the executive team at Match.com, as well as to its parent company, IAC.

Gayle obtained her BS in Accounting from California Lutheran University and her MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management (UCLA). Gayle brings a depth of experience from multiple industries, having held senior financial leadership positions at the Walt Disney Company and International Rectifier Corporation. Her career began at KPMG, where she became a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

When the workday ends, she applies her skills and energy to the needs of others. Gayle is Board President of A Small Miracle Foundation, a Dallas nonprofit that provides child care for families who are battling cancer. She volunteers with the mission and youth programs at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church and she’s active on the Miller Elementary PTA board, both in Richardson, Texas. Gayle lives with her husband and two children in Richardson.

Buffy Peschka Wehner Community Relations Director, Jobing.com, Dallas

Since 2006, Buffy Wehner has served as a “connector” in her role as the Dallas Community Relations Director for Jobing.com. Her primary focus is to develop relationships and increase the local market presence through educating job seekers and employers on maximizing recruitment marketing and technology services. Buffy works within many facets of the community to successfully bring together job seekers and employers. Along with creating strategic alliances with professional associations, educational institutions, and civic organizations, a key component of her position is to provide content for videos, blogs and social media outlets in order to create an opportunity for relevant employment conversations between job seekers and employers. She is responsible for building and facilitating Jobing’s social media community on Twitter @JobingDallas and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/dallasjobs.

Prior to joining Jobing.com, Buffy served as the Business Development and Exhibits Director for Dallas Human Resource Management Association, a local chapter of SHRM, where she concentrated on the overall management and execution of the annual HR Southwest Conference. In addition, she has served as an instructor for the undergraduate communication course at Brookhaven Community College and the University of North Texas.

Buffy holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in Communication Studies and a Master’s degree from University of North Texas in Interpersonal Communication.
