WITI Houston Regional Network
Building Your Personal Networking Plan

Wednesday, March 3, 2004
6:00-8:30

As women in technology, we participate in groups like WITI to build networks and find mentors to help us enhance our careers, build our businesses and empower ourselves for greater success. But some of us are shy, uncomfortable promoting ourselves or just not sure how to make the most of networking opportunities. Join WITI Houston to learn how to build your personal and professional network in an interactive learning experience led by one of Houston's business networking women gurus. This working session will teach you how to build your personal networking plan, give you some useful tips and tricks, and help you practice what you have learned in an accelerated networking roundtable.

Meeting Notes: Advance registration is encouraged to ensure a space and dinner. Walk-ins are accepted on a space available basis. Expand your network and career power by becoming an active member in WITI. Introduce a friend to WITI and help her grow as well.

About Our Sponsor(s)

SYSCO,an acronym for Systems and Services Company, began with a promise to assist foodservice operators in providing consumers with solutions for meals consumed away from home. Today SYSCO has sales and service relationships with more than 420,000 customers and remains committed to helping them succeed in the foodservice industry and satisfy consumers' appetites. That commitment generated 2003 revenues of $26.1 billion. Many solid customer relationships have been nurtured along the way, countless dining trends and meal alternatives have evolved, and today the decision to consume meals prepared away from home is as much necessity as choice.

Operating from 145 locations throughout the contiguous United States and portions of Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada, today SYSCO's product lines are as diverse as the 47,700 employees who support its daily operations. They include not only the ingredients needed to prepare meals, but also numerous ancillary preparation and serving items.
