With a B.S. from the University of Cincinnati, Joan has worked in manufacturing, retail buying, operations and training. She implemented and managed Management Development and IT Training Departments for Occidental Petroleum and Superior Oil companies.

Joan has written several “How to books”, has had articles published in Chemical Engineering, IEEE Transactions Chemtech and is listed in The National Directory of Executive Coaches. She has served as a part time consultant for DBM, one of the three largest Out Placement firms in the world. Joan has been in private practice as an executive, business, career and personal coach, consultant and trainer since 1985.

Over her years in practice, Joan has worked with hundreds of corporate executives, managers, business owners, and technical professionals.

Major areas of focus for these clients are: management, leadership, communication and political savvy skills, employee selection, time management, staying focused on key result priorities and personal life balance.
