About Our Speaker(s)

Eddie Rivera is Director of Human Resources for MGM MIRAGE Corporate Information Technology and in that capacity he is responsible for providing human resources, leadership, coaching, skill development, and support to the Information Technology/Operations Division.

Eddie joined the company in 1995 as a Division Training Manager for Bellagio’s Resort and Casino Engineering Department. Most recently, he comes to us from Corporate Human Resources, where he was a Diversity and Leadership Development Manager. Eddie has over 20 years of experience in human resources, training, organizational development; property management, and business management consulting.

Prior to joining MGM MIRAGE Corporation, he held the position of Human Resources/Training Consultant for the Marmaxx Group, an operator of a number of retail chains, including T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, in Las Vegas. Before this, Eddie was employed as Business and Property Manager for Jacobs Medical Center, a local Internal Medicine practice. His experience also includes working for Bank of America as Vice President of Statewide Training and Organizational Development as well as Citicorp in California and Citibank-Nevada.

His professional affiliations include a membership in the Society of Human Resources Management and the American Society of Training and Development, a leading association of workplace learning and performance professionals.

Eddie earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge.
