WITI this month rolls out the latest of its partner's services to help you, our members, succeed and thrive. Our new member benefit, Proactive Publicity from the Diva Toolbox, will help women in technology better showcase their skills and contributions, both inside and outside the technology industry.

New Program: A Natural Extension of our Efforts to Promote Members

This partnership with the Diva Toolbox furthers WITI's efforts to highlight the expertise and accomplishments of women in technology and gives our community a cost effective way to build their professional brand. We understand that technology is central to the lives and careers of professional women and women business owners. This partnership is intended to help shine the light on the significant technology accomplishments and skills women use every day, but that too often go unnoticed. Participating WITI members will help us showcase these contributions and serve as role models for the next generation of women in technology.

Using the Proactive Publicity program, it is our hope to position members like you as "go to sources" for the media on topics around technology. We are excited to offer a program like this that will help tell your stories.

How it Works

The program utilizes the best practices of our partner, Diva Toolbox™, to win media coverage that in turn boosts the credibility and personal and professional brand of participating members. We view this new program as an excellent complement to our existing services which include networking, career services, events and publications. Included in the Proactive Publicity Program is an annual WITI membership to further support our member's connections, resources and opportunities.

Easy to Use

The program is easy to use and economically priced. Once enrolled, a participant completes a brief questionnaire and is then contacted by the Proactive Publicity team to discuss potential topics and story ideas that track with the member's accomplishments, skills and expertise. Proactive Publicity staff then works with participants to generate media coverage. Each participant receives monthly promotion in the media, is regularly queried about potential story ideas and is also given the option of submitting original by-lined articles for potential media placement. The program can be purchased on an annual basis at a significant savings to the monthly membership.

Program Benefits
