Q: How does my company or organization participate?

A: All inquiries are welcome. Please click on the following link to contact the Leadership Council. You will be contacted to discuss your participation.

Q: When are the Leadership Council meetings held?

A: Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. We generally meet from 8:30am - 10:00am at rotating sites. Realizing that diversity requires encompassing many views, decisions are reached through discussion and consensus. Attempts are made to accommodate various needs.

Q: What are the Leadership Council's responsibilities?

A: The Leadership Council put on the Power Networking events and are responsible for planning and acting as a liaison for their companies or organizations. As liaisons, they spread the word about the Power Networking events to both their HR departments and business managers and to their organizations' membership. For each Power Networking event members of the committee volunteer to complete the necessary tasks.

Q: Is there a membership fee for the companies and organizations on the Leadership Council?

A: Currently there is no fee to be on the Leadership Council. However, the companies all contribute to the financing of the events.

Q: Who pays for the Power Networking events?

A: Companies on the Leadership Council contribute funds towards the event. This demonstrates their support of the professional and technical diversity organizations.

Q: Can you tell me more about the Power Networking events?

A: Our goal is to educate, broker relationships, empower and inspire this community of business, civic and government leaders. Events are usually held semi-annually.
