Nila G. Betof, Ph.D.

Dr. Betof has extensive experience in executive coaching working with leaders in the C-Suite through emerging talent and brings over 30 years of operational and management experience to The Leader's Edge/Leaders By Design. Dr. Betof's background is in career development consulting, leadership development, and organizational change for Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Dr. Betof has personally consulted on establishing hundreds of leadership development programs and organizational change initiatives. She is certified in a variety of assessment tools and behavioral interviewing techniques. For her outstanding leadership efforts, Dr. Betof received the 2011 SmartCOO Award from SmartCEO Magazine. Dr. Betof's corporate career included a number of senior-level and executive positions in Information Technology, Human Resources and Strategic Planning. Dr. Betof currently serves as the President of The Forum of Executive Women, the premier senior woman's leadership organization in the Greater Philadelphia region. Dr. Betof is also a professor at The American College in the Masters Program in Leadership and frequently speaks on issues involving women in the workplace. She is also the author of numerous articles and has published a book for transitioning leaders called Just Promoted! A 12-Month Roadmap for Success in Your New Leadership Role (McGraw-Hill).
