Enjoy the Path Of Least Resistance!

We all have our own unique ways of dealing with the world - of taking in information, processing it, and acting on it. And at some level we are aware of our natural tendencies. Thus, for example, I will bet that you will not have too much trouble answering the following questions:
- Do you like to focus on the "big picture" or are you a "detail person"?
- Do you like to get things done early or wait until the last minute?
- What gets you motivated to do something?
Yet interestingly enough, rather than embracing and leveraging our natural tendencies many of us struggle against them - trying to make ourselves do things in ways that only cause us frustration and pain. Well the following is something I want you to consider. Most of the time taking the path of least resistance - allowing yourself to do things in the way that is most natural to you - is the best and most enjoyable way to proceed.

Outsourcing: Here IT Comes!

At a time when outsourcing is quickly becoming the norm, employees of companies that have not yet jumped on the outsourcing wagon are becoming anxious of what is to come. Is their job at stake? Should they be worried? Outsourcing is literally everywhere - from software to planning your next party. So is there cause to stress about losing your job, or perhaps celebrate that finally help is on the way? As part of a software outsourcing company, I have frequently seen the fear lurking in the eyes of engineers as I make a presentation to introduce outsourcing into their company. A few times, I have even received a direct "warning" from an employee who was simply trying to protect his job. On the opposite end, I have also experienced what it is like to be in the other set of shoes... the ones that have been "outsourced".

Launching 2006 at CES!

WITI and Pandora's Mighty Soldiers (PMS Clan) began 2006 with a bang at the 2006 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in America's favorite playground, fabulous Las Vegas.
On Thursday morning, Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the producer of CES, delivered an inspiring and exciting State of the Industry Address. Shapiro discussed the breadth of the current consumer electronics market, with the average U.S. home owning approximately 25 consumer electronics products. Not really a surprise to the tech-addicted gamer girls of PMS Clan!
