Before you know it, 2016 will be here. Are you caught up on next year’s mega trends? Will it be more of the same or will we see major disruptions?

Staying abreast of emerging trends and technology and understanding its impact on customers could offer new businesses opportunities -- boosting innovation and the bottom-line.

Join local senior leaders who will share their insights and vision of today and tomorrow – and learn about technology and legislation that could impact your business. Also, hear about their career, interests and what it takes to be a leader in an organization.

Our moderator will be Parna Sarkar-Basu, Senior Director, Corporate Marketing at NuoDB. Parna is a technology marketing professional and works closely with senior leadership and industry influencers to identify and leverage global trends to drive corporate and product marketing strategies. Parna has led global communications and marketing functions at various technology companies, including iRobot, PTC and iCorps Technology. She serves on the board of WITI Boston and Children Across America.

About Our Speaker(s)

Denise Fletcher, VP & Chief Innovation Officer, Xerox
Denise is responsible for achieving annual group innovation revenue targets, fueling thought leadership strategies, engaging customers in innovation strategies, and driving innovation through a robust research and development pipeline. She has 6 patents pending in healthcare and has been recognized by Front End Innovation in March 2014, as one of the top 40 women in Innovation. In 2012 she received the National Diversity Council Award for most powerful and influential woman in Connecticut. Fletcher is a key strategist and influencer within the Xerox Healthcare Council, a member of Xerox’s University Affairs Council which seeds innovation grants to colleges and universities throughout the world and serves on the Healthcare Delivery Advisory board at WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute).

Daryl Crockett, Founder of Gray Systems, Inc., Validus & Validatum
Daryl is a seasoned C-level executive with consulting experience in a wide variety of industries including Bio-tech, High-Tech, Software, Real Estate, Media, and Business Development. Since 2001, Daryl has managed Gray Systems, Inc., a consulting firm assisting large multinational businesses with ERP systems implementation, upgrades, integrations, Data Migration, Data Analystics, Validation and Data Quality. In 1998, Daryl was appointed CFO for a publicly traded company followed by a position as CFO working on IPO preparation for the medical technology software firm, NuGenesis, which was eventually acquired by Waters. In 2000, she formed Compliance Strategy Group, a consulting and software firm focused on data capture and audit compliance for the Sales and Use Tax market. Daryl is Six Sigma Certified, ISO 8000 DQDM Certified, a graduate of Bryant University in Rhode Island with a degree in Accounting. She also attended the New Hampshire College MBA program.

Seth Proctor, CTO, NuoDB
Seth has 15+ years of experience in the research, design and implementation of scalable systems. That experience includes work on distributed computing, networks, security, languages, operating systems and databases all of which are integral to NuoDB. His particular focus is on how to make technology scale and how to make users scale effectively with their systems. Prior to NuoDB Seth worked at Nokia on their private cloud architecture. Before that he was at Sun Microsystems Laboratories and collaborated with several product groups and universities. Seth holds eight patents for his cutting edge work across several technical disciplines. He has several additional patents awaiting approval related to achieving greater database efficiency and end-user agility.

Jackie Albrecht, Technical Director, Palladium
Jackie is a talented technical leader with a unique blend of hands-on IT, software engineering and Agile coaching skills combined with great people skills and business knowledge. Jackie currently is Technical Director at Palladium, focusing on the solution architecture for knowledge management along with other global technology initiatives. She transitioned to this role from CIO after the company's acquisition by an international development firm. Jackie has a wide range of experience in defining and executing IT and application portfolios, coaching Agile transformations, and leading the development of enterprise and commercial applications. Jackie is an active participant in the software engineering, information management and Agile communities, gaining exposure and firsthand experience with new platforms, languages, technologies, methods and tools.

IBM Innovation Center is located at 1 Rogers Street, Cambridge, MA. The sign on the front of the building states "One Charles Park"

Park across the street at the Cambridgeside Galleria Mall and IBM will validate parking for a discounted rate ($3-$11 depending on how long).

Once you park, take the elevator/escalator to the first floor and walk towards the end of the mall where the Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen are located (not towards the food court which is on the opposite end).

IBM is located in the building directly across the street. Cross the street and continue along the walkway, keeping the building on your right side. Walk past the Daycare, turn right onto Rogers Street and a right into the courtyard. Enter through the main doors that say Charles Park.

The meeting room is located on the first floor behind the security desk.
