Traci Libby - Director Corporate Development
(Nasdaq: LIFE), with responsibility for global technology acquisition, in-licensing and non-M&A transactions. Her team identifies and assesses technologies with applicability to Life Technologies’ research tools, bioproduction, and applied markets portfolio of over 50,000 products, which currently includes over 4,000 patents and licenses and well-recognized life science brands such as Invitrogen, Applied Biosystems, Ambion, Molecular Probes, Gibco, and Dynal, among others.

In addition to the many acquisitions accomplished by Invitrogen’s corporate development team during her ten years at Life Technologies, Traci’s group currently concludes approximately 150 transactions per year, including patent license and equity agreements, collaborative agreements, sponsored research, and co-marketing transactions. Prior to her tenure at Life Technologies, Traci was head of new product development and a senior product manager at Chemicon International (acquired by Millipore – and recently Merck kGA), manager of global technical support and member of product development teams at Calbiochem (now EMD), and laboratory director at a contract viral and interferon bioassay services CRO.

Traci obtained her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of California, San Diego, and did her graduate studies in molecular and cell biology at San Diego State University.


Stefan Adolfsson - Director of R&D Engineering
(NYSE: IMA) As Director he scouts products and manufacturing processes around the globe in order to adopt solutions for innovation, production, automation, dispensing and packaging. His goal also includes the identification of cutting edge technologies for insertion into Inverness product pipelines.

Prior to his position at Inverness, Adolfsson held various global appointments within multi-national corporations in over 10 countries iincluding Mexico. He has worked in diverse industries including packaging, oil production, industrial robotics, and life sciences. He was worked for Saab and Schlumberger.

He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jonkoping, Sweden. He served in the Swedish Navy accomplishing the ranking of an officer. He speaks several languages including English, Swedish, German and French. He serves on the board of various organizations including the San Diego Chapter of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce.
