Find out how one Project Management Office (PMO) was formed, took hold and made a difference at a great South Florida company.
Join us for a real world example of how Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., Business Solutions Group Division, embraced project management and made it a competitive advantage. Struggling with IT project demands, resource allocation and budgetary constraints, this South Florida company embraced project management, defined and refined their process, set strategic priorities to define criteria for project prioritization and sequencing, and embraced a project management culture.
Hear first-hand tales from Kathy Ericsson, PMO Director at Southern Wine & Spirits as she openly shares with WITI members and guests where Southern Wine & Spirits was, what changes they’ve made, and the results they’ve seen. Understand how the PMO became part of the culture there – beyond just IT, how that happened, and suggestions for how to adopt a PMO and make it work within your company. Bring your colleagues along with you to this meeting as it takes more than one to build a PMO.
