We will cover topics such as entrepreneurial soft skills, pros and cons of starting a business, vendor and customer management, and how to leverage the latest technology in business.

Ann Jakits has over 20 years experience in both the public and private sectors and is an insightful and savvy executive with the ability to match organizational and solution capability with opportunity. She has applied business strategy, innovative thinking, and her expertise in corporate, marketing, technical communication, and information technology environments to start of Millennial Group, LLC. Ann’s educational credentials include B.S., Liberal Studies, MBA, Management, and extensive education and experience in communication and technology. Her leadership, ability to facilitate, and to direct the capacity for opportunity through innovative programs and services are indicative of successfully growing enterprises.

Heidi Richards Mooney, Founder & CEO of the Women’s ECommerce Association International (WECAI™) ~ a virtual organization of women in ecommerce.

Heidi Richards Mooney is an author, business coach, and entrepreneur. She is a mother and grandmother, a wife, and friend to many. A writer and professional speaker, Heidi enjoys traveling to new countries, learning new cultures and sharing a woman’s perspective on marketing, leadership and running a business. She has written 8 books and co-authored 2, published and edited 5 ebooks and publishes a quarterly international magazine – WE Magazine for Women. Heidi’s passion is social media marketing and she help her clients develop their internet strategies, get their “blog on” and show them how to leverage social networking to grow their business. Heidi has numerous recognitions in the fields, including being named one of the “Top 50 Virtual Women Shaping the Internet” in 2005 and a “Twitter Woman to follow” by Only2Clicks.com in 2009.

Pat Soffer, Owner, Soffer Collective ~ a branding, strategy, and design firm

Patty Soffer is an innovative leader with a degree in Mass Communications and 30 years experience in the advertising business as a writer and as both a print and television model. She used her education and knowledge of agent relations and the advertising industry operates to start Soffer Collec+ive Soffer Collective. Patty has adhered to seamless integration, team building, complete transparency, and a single point of contact philosophy in the development of her businesses over the course of her career and has experienced the entire lifecycle of entrepreneurship from startup to close. A mother of two, she has balanced her home life with overseeing the planning, scheduling, financial, customer relations, and networking aspects of her companies.

Elizabeth Varian, President, Web Master For Hire LLC ~ a web development company

Elizabeth Varian has been helping service professionals create their brand and position their businesses on the internet for more than a decade. Her company specializes in Internet consulting, site design, development and maintenance.
