Career Coach

Clare’s IT career has taken her from healthcare in the Midwest, to the United Nations in Italy, and most recently as the Director of Business Solutions at LNR Property Corporation headquartered in Miami Beach. Currently as owner of MERLO Coaching, she guides IT managers and professionals to play a bigger game, to become more effective leaders of themselves and others, and ultimately to create more fulfillment in their careers.

Beth Morgan

Senior Vice President
Terremark Worldwide, Inc.

Beth Morgan is a Senior Vice President for Operational Compliance at Verizon Terremark. Beth has 25 years of professional experience in a wide range of areas including program, project and quality management, operational compliance, business process improvement, strategic planning and organization design and development.

Since joining Terremark in July 2002, Beth has been responsible for a wide variety of projects including the oversight of the operational compliance and achievement of SSAE16, PCI and IS027001 certifications and leading diverse program managers in high visibility projects including integration of business process functions and metrics tracking and reporting projects.

Beth is very involved in the community and serves on multiple boards. She serves on the Board of Directors for ITWomen, an organization focused on encouraging girls to pursue education in science, technology, engineering and math. She is on the advisory board of the American Diabetes Association Father of the Year Award and has been the President of the Friends of Little River, Inc., a charitable organization focused on helping the students and families of one of Miami-Dade County’s poorest public schools. She has been the Chairperson of the MEED Business Advisory Council at Miami Dade College since May 2009. Additionally, she was honored as the 2012 Association of Agencies Community Leader of the Year, one of the WITI South Florida Women to Watch 2011, the South Florida Business Journal 2010 Influential Business Women and was a finalist at the 2009 AXA Advisors Businesswomen of the Year Awards.

Prior to joining Terremark, Beth worked for Telcordia Technologies, BellCore, AT&T and Bell Labs. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations and Public Communication from The American University and her MBA from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. Beth lives with her husband Andrew and three children in Key Biscayne, Florida.

Stephanie Sylvestre

Stephanie Sylvestre has spent the past 17 years focusing on IT Quality working with teams to understand the “whys” of the goals so that they can devise the best “hows” to achieving their goals in the most efficient and sustainable manner. She has helped teams focus on the people aspect of software development putting a premium on making teams happy. Stephanie believes that geeks are the new sexy and tirelessly works to have others embrace this and the business value that the IT groups bring.
Stephanie takes this excitement of making teams happy into the non-profit arena and leads a group of 230 women who twice a year build homes for Habitat for Humanity. Stephanie and her awesome team of women build homes with only women volunteers, consistently completing the homes on time. She relaxes by hanging out with three teenage boys from Liberty City whom she mentors.

Michelle Nason
Senior Manager, Information Technology
CITRIX Systems

As Director, Back Office Portfolio, Michelle Nason is responsible developing and implementing IT strategies and plans that support the growth and optimization of Citrix’s business and operations. Michelle oversees a team of relationship managers that collaborate across internal Citrix groups to develop and implement IT systems and process plans that support their business needs and requirements.

Michelle brings over 20 years of experience and success managing IT and marketing initiatives at Citrix. Prior to her role as Director, Michelle has spent the last 12 years in the Citrix IT group, most recently as a Business Relationship Manager within the Solutions Delivery Group. Previous to that, Michelle held positions in both Corporate Marketing and Channel Marketing. With her broad background and intimate knowledge of Citrix’s business and products, she is considered a strong contributor in the technology group at Citrix.

Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University and an MBA from the University of Miami.
