Did you know that a woman invented Kevlar? Most people don't! Unfortunately, we just don't celebrate the contributions of women enough - particularly in the areas of science, math and technology.
Women in Technology International wants to change that by inviting you to participate in a unique Social Celebration! We need your help to celebrate women and their contributions to technology by sending them a "wave." (The video shows you how it looks!)
Technology brings us together. So just imagine all of our videos edited together where my hand touches yours, yours touches...Oprah! Then Oprah connects with...Michelle Omaba! Lady Gaga gets in on the act, news anchors in the middle of a broadcast suddenly "wave" at their friends and women from around the world are all waving at each other in celebration.
If you use or create technology, science or math, you should be celebrated for your contribution. We'd like to celebrate YOU as part of this video because you're part of the WITI Wave!
It's easy to participate!
Make a video of yourself, your friends - your kids and their friends - doing the "WITI Wave" to join in the fun!
