Samantha Scully, Founder and Principal of Scully Staffing Solutions, has made it her mission to help women get work. Since the pandemic, women have suffered significantly with fewer jobs and less pay. That is why Ms. Scully has teamed with various organizations to help educate women on job opportunities in the technology field.
As a staffing professional and entrepreneur, Ms. Scully recently spoke at the 5th Annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum. She offered extensive information on opportunities for single Moms to become solopreneur, contractor, consultant, and freelancer.
"I disagree with the label 'single Mom' as we are only single in relationship status. Through the support of this organization, we all have a 'village' to get help when we need it," stated Ms. Scully.

Most Saturday mornings, you can hear Ms. Scully on the Women in Technology International (WITI) 'Women and Business' series on Clubhouse. Recently, she shared strategic ideas on how women can get into the tech industry. "I'm not looking to discuss all the current problems, I'm looking to share solutions," said Ms. Scully. "I tell women to 'sprinkle' themselves into different industries that align with technology like construction, drones, and engineering," she added. "Technology departments are within every company so don't think you need to only reach out to tech companies."
