Anjali Soni, Managing Director, is the US Head of Equity Derivatives and Equity Linked (D&EL) IT for UBS Investment Bank in Stamford, CT. In this role, while she is responsible for development and support of critical technology in use by the US Derivatives business regionally, she also globally oversees the execution of the multi-year technology roadmap for the Risk Infrastructure at the heart of Equity Derivatives technology in UBS. Her additional global responsibilities include the overall technology projects portfolio for Equity Linked business globally. Some of her key focus areas are health of production for the US Derivatives business, planning and execution of the Risk technology roadmap for DELIT and various development off-shoring and operational initiatives for US D&EL IT. Anjali also takes pride in paying special attention to personal and career development of her staff and actively mentors women in IT.
Prior to joining UBS, Anjali spent 14 years at Citigroup where she was involved with both Equity and Fixed Income Derivatives. She started as a Developer in the Equity Derivatives technology team and worked her way up to become the Director and Head of US Rates Technology. Anjali has been with UBS Investment Bank for about a year now.
On a personal note, Anjali is a mother of two teenage sons. She enjoys reading, tennis, yoga in her limited spare time outside of work.
