Intrapreneur/Entrepreneur: What Are The Lessons in Creating a Startup, either Externally or Within a Company?

Ana Pinczuk leads Cisco's Global Technical Center, a worldwide team of 3000 professionals who deliver technical support, define the service experience, and partner with engineering to drive product excellence. A transformational leader with a diverse background, Ana has also led teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management. Before joining Cisco, she spent 15 years at AT&T and Lucent, where one of her main responsibilities was developing and deploying AT&T's Internet backbone. Ana received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering from Cornell University, an Executive Master's in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, and a Master of Science in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Ana serves on several academic and industry advisory boards including the Consortium for Services Innovation, Cornell Computer and Information Sciences, and CMU Silicon Valley. Ana is married and has two sons.
