Syuzi Pakhchyan is a user experience designer and author with a passion for crafting products and experiences for next-generation wearable technologies. After receiving her MFA from the Art Center College of Design, she authored "Fashioning Technology," the first DIY book on interactive fashion, and began a design and innovation consulting studio. Currently she works as a consultant where her focus is to fashion wearables that are truly wearable and distinctly desirable. Ms. Pakhchyan is also Intel's Technologist in Residence at Art Center College of Design, where she is working to produce events and happenings that encourage conversations around the future of wearable technology. Ms. Pakhchyan has been sharing her insight and vision for wearable technology at leading industry conferences including SXSW, Wearable Tech Expo, and the Augmented World Expo. Her work has also been exhibited at various events including V & A Museum (London), Eyebeam, A & D Museum (Los Angeles), the Fashion Future Event, Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts, South by Southwest, Maker Faire, and Emerging Technologies Conference.
