Prashanthi Padmanabhan is a Technical Director in the Communication Products group at AOL. She leads the team that is responsible for building AOL Mail, the flagship product of the company. Her team recently launched the next-gen application server platform that powers multiple communication apps across desktop and mobile. Ms. Padmanabhan is very passionate about building intuitive and engaging consumer-facing products that are backed by robust infrastructure. She is a people person who enjoys the art of mentoring and building strong teams. Outside product engineering and people management responsibilities, she also leads the editorial function of AOL's Engineering Blog and loves organizing hackathons.

Prior to AOL Mail, Ms. Padmanabhan led product development efforts across other AOL products in the content management, personalization, and photos management space. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Bharathiar University, India.
