Mayla Clark is a communication skills coach and workshop facilitator. With over 25 years of corporate, university, and non-profit experience, she consults with accomplished professionals who want to increase their influence and impact when interacting with and speaking to others. For 10 years, she was an Adjunct Professor at Santa Clara University where she taught her 11-week class "Effective Oral Technical Presentation Skills," as part of the MBA program for Engineers.

Ms. Clark also developed and facilitated her 1-day workshop "Productive Meetings" at Cisco Systems; for 8 1/2 years she conducted open enrollment classes in the Bay Area and around the U.S. Additionally, NetApp's corporate training programs grew as the company did, offering Ms. Clark the opportunity to conduct her 1-day "Effective Presentations" class once a month for over 6 1/2 years throughout the U.S. She then created her advanced "Presenting with Impact" workshop, enabling attendees to refine both the content and delivery of their presentations while increasing their level of comfort and effectiveness in front of groups. Ms. Clark earned a B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.A. from San Jose State University. She is a fourth-generation Californian, a Board Member of Silicon Valley Product Management Association (SVPMA), and an active supporter of Breast Cancer Connections as well as Teen Success in San Jose, a program to help teen moms break the cycle of poverty and its accompanying challenges.
