She works with Green Huddle, a free five-series workshop for equity applicants to learn about local equity laws and to put together the materials needed to apply for a cannabis license. In addition, Ms. Duckett works with the local political group, Oakland Citizens for Equity and Prosperity (O.C.E.P.), to ensure that Oakland's local communities benefit from the growth of the cannabis industry. Earlier, Ms. Duckett spent 7+ years in the public relations and digital marketing space, most notably working on the marketing teams of such companies as Mazda, Adobe, and Pandora.
