Helena Ronis was born in the Soviet Union, raised in Israel, and served in the Tech Unit of the Israeli Air Force. She came to the US in 2010 as a student, loved the Bay Area and stayed. Since then she has worked in product management and marketing, started a location-based social networking startup (ventureout.co), and worked as a product manager at a venture-funded startup, Vyu Labs.

Last year Ms. Ronis created a new startup: voxsnap.com - a voice marketing automation solution for marketers and brands, including an audio library for listeners to enjoy educational content in career-oriented categories (voxsnap.com/library).
