The Las Vegas IT community will be hosting the first ever IT student forum. It will not be a job fair, but rather a networking opportunity for IT professionals, companies, and students with IT focused majors. Students graduating in the next year can meet local IT professionals as well as IT managers from businesses around the Las Vegas valley.

It can be difficult to make the transition from student to professional. The Las Vegas IT professional community would like to help bridge that gap for students making that transition through this forum.

Who should attend the Student Forum?
• IT Students in Las Vegas who are juniors or seniors in their coursework
• IT Professionals who would like to meet Las Vegas ’ next generation of IT Professionals
• Las Vegas companies who would like to meet Las Vegas ’ next generation of IT Professionals

If you are an IT professional in Las Vegas , please make time to attend this event. As you transitioned as a professional, did you receive a helping hand from a mentor, manager, or colleague? At the student forum, you will have the opportunity to “pay it forward” by serving as a resource at the event for the students. We would like IT professionals from every realm of the IT community to attend.

We will have “booths” for companies who would like to share with the students, giving students the opportunity to learn more about the different roles and structure of IT groups in the valley.
