Hooman Khalili is an Iranian-American artist, filmmaker, and advocate whose work has amplified the Women, Life, Freedom movement through public art and storytelling. On his official site, he describes creating more than 20 murals in support of the Iranian people, with a mission rooted in giving voice to the voiceless and building unity through art. His “Woman Life Freedom” mural work has also drawn broader public attention, including a U.S. debut at Rice University.

Azadeh Afsahi, LMFT, M.S., Ph.D. Candidate is the Founder and President of Iran House, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of political imprisonment, torture, and trauma. She is also a UN speaker on torture recovery, a trauma-informed psychotherapist, and an advocate for mental health care as a fundamental human right. With more than 19 years of experience specializing in trauma recovery, complex PTSD, and the long-term psychological impacts of displacement and systemic violence, Azadeh brings a deeply grounded perspective on healing, resilience, and justice.
