Join us for an informative session on resources available for Entrepreneurs in Georgia working with products associated with new technologies.
We will have Ms. Mary Leary from ATDC (Advanced Technology Development Center) and Ms. Terri Dennison, District Director SBA (Small Business Administration)who will provide information on additional resources available to women.
The session seeks to help our members understand the scope of ATDC and help you understand the path to starting your own business.
Ms.Radhika Subramanian, CEO EMCIEN will be our guest speaker sharing her experiences in starting her company with support from ATDC.

The Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) is a nationally recognized technology incubator that helps Georgia entrepreneurs launch and build successful companies. ATDC provides strategic business advice and connects its member companies to the people and resources they need to succeed.
More than 100 companies have emerged from ATDC, including publicly-traded firms such as MindSpring Enterprises - now part of EarthLink. Headquartered at the Georgia Institute of Technology, ATDC has been recognized by Inc Magazine as one of the nation's top non-profit incubators. ATDC was formed in 1980 to stimulate growth in Georgia's technology business base and now has locations in Atlanta, Warner Robins and Savannah.

Radhika Subramanian, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman
Ms. Subramanian is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. She has over 14 years of experience helping large sophisticated organizations optimize their business processes and achieve greater levels of success. Most recently Ms. Subramanian co-founded Idmon Corporation along with Dr. Roy Marsten. In 2001 the company was successfully sold to the Swiss Air group.

Terri Denison became the District Director for the Georgia Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in May 2002. Ms. Denison started her SBA career in 1987 as a Presidential Management Intern at the Agency’s Washington, D. C. District Office. In 1989, she moved to the SBA’s Headquarters Office. Here, Ms. Denison worked with the Agency’s Minority Enterprise Development and One Stop Capital Shop programs and as a Field Operations Analyst in the Office of Field Operations. In 1994, she served as an SBA representative on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Empowerment Zone/Enterprise Community Interagency Task Force.
In 1996, Ms. Denison became the Deputy District Director of the SBA’s Indiana District Office. In the fall of 2000, she was one of seven individuals nationwide selected to participate in the SBA’s District Director’s Candidate Development Program. Assignments included serving as the Acting Deputy District Director in the Los Angeles District Office and the Acting District Director in Wisconsin.
Ms. Denison, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, holds a B.A. Degree in American Government from Cornell University and an M.A. Degree in Urban Studies from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

Locating SunTrust HR Reception Area from ST Plaza Food Court:In the center of the Food Court, there is a fountain and a set of elevators just across from it. Take this elevator to AL (Atrium Level). Exit this elevator and proceed left to another set of elevators. Take this elevator to the 2nd floor. When you exit the elevator, look for Suite 200 at the north end of the elevator corridor.
