The OMNI User has invited WITI members to participate in the fourth annual golf outing.
It’s official; the fourth annual OMNI User golf outing is taking reservations. Those of you who attended last years outing already know what a great time is in store when OMNI and WITI tees up on Tuesday, July 16th, 2002 at Bloomingdale Golf Club. Bloomingdale’s is located at 181 Glen Ellyn Road (just off Lake St.) in Bloomingdale.
What’s the cost, you say? $85.00 includes your greens fees, a cart and a great dinner!
Start practicing on those par 3’s, a hole-in-one could get you a new car or a trip to Europe. Be prepared to take home lots of prizes and be getting ready to have some pleasant surprises as well. We have a full day of fun and entertainment planned.
Sooo, your handicap is through the roof eh? Don’t worry, we are using the scramble format for our outing.
What the heck is the scramble format!
Each foursome plays as a team. Each player tees off; a decision is made by the foursome as to who hit the best shot. All players move their ball to that spot and hit their second shot from that location. Take the best second shot etc. The foursome then records the single score for the hole.
Using this format you’re guaranteed to have a great time.
