For 25 years, Copy Kinetics principal Judy Levene has contributed to the success of numerous global, national and regional organizations as an independent copywriter/editor. A versatile writer with a strong marketing orientation and excellent critical thinking skills, she earns her clients' trust by influencing the attitudes and behavior of key constituencies with the right message, approach and voice.

Judy's creative abilities span advertising, marketing collateral, online/interactive marketing, employee communications, events, fund raising and public relations. Areas of specialty include business-to-business, high-tech, health care, education, supply chain, nonprofit, retail and financial services communications. Attentive to both details and deadlines, Judy is known for “getting it right the first time.” She is also a sharp editor/proofreader and strategic collaborator.

Judy created market-facing campaigns and developed communications targeting internal audiences working for EDS (now HP Enterprise Services, a division of the world's largest technology company.) Prior to launching Copy Kinetics in 1985, she wrote and coordinated sales promotion, direct marketing, event and store communications for Zale Corporation.

Her account experience includes assignments for EDS/HP (health care, financial services, HR/diversity, retail and transportation communications), Kimberly-Clark Corp., Texas Instruments, the International Facility Management Association, JCPenney, First Private Bank, the Texas Tech Red Raider Club, and VHA/Novation. The website she wrote for the Red Raider Club was recognized in 2009 with a national Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications and a Dallas IABC Bronze Quill Award.

Judy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. When not adding “punch” to written communications, she enjoys creating stained glass pieces and taking Zumba and yoga classes. Judy resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
