Romelia Flores is one of IBM's top 500 technical executives, earning the titles of IBM Distinguished Engineer and IBM Master Inventor. She has collaborated with some of IBM's largest clients around technology innovation, Smarter Cities and Cognitive technology. Romelia holds 37 patents with an additional 30 patents pending. In 2018 she has been delivering Design Thinking workshops to clients and IBMers. Romelia is an alumnus of the University of Texas and was honored as a Baylor Honorary alumnus in 2014. Romelia received the 2017 DFW TechTitan Executive of the Year Award, the 2016 Lifetime Achievement award at the Great Minds In STEM Conference and was named Dallas Business Journal's 2016 Women in Technology Award Honoree. Romelia is married with two children, and still manages to attend yoga classes three times a week!

Call me Jenn. During the day I am an Integration Architect for the IBM Worldwide Client Center for Systems Innovation. In this role I get the opportunity to work with customers, business partners and vendors on leading edge technologies, new innovations or complex situations -- basically I get to have a lot of fun problem solving! I've been spending all of my time for the last couple of years focusing on blockchain. It's been a lot of fun watching Linux Foundation's Hyperledger Fabric evolve and watch the growth of one of their newer projects, Hyperledger Composer. It's a lot of fun working with the technologies, teaching others about them and seeing them figure out how this can really revolutionize ways they are doing business.

When I'm not working, you'll find around the Dallas area where I live volunteering at church, coaching or playing soccer, working on Olympic Lifting and CrossFit or hanging out with my dog, Cache, and my fiancé. I also recently picked up and have been refining my buttercream frosting skills.
