KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Angela Watmore is the Director of Alliances within Boeing Defense, Space & Security Ventures. She serves on the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for providing the federal government and commercial customers with industry leading secure micro-grid solutions and smart grid technologies to improve critical infrastructure protection and enhance energy security.

Angela is certified by the Project Management Institute and has over 20 years of executive leadership experience within private industry and the federal government. Prior to joining Boeing, Angela served as a Senior Advisor to the Department of Energy Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition, Contract and Project Management.

She brings over 20 years of business development, profit and loss, and people management experience in the defense, energy, security and information technology sectors. She has a Juris Doctorate from Creighton School of Law and a Bachelors degree from the University of Nebraska (Pre-med, major in Psychology, double minor in Chemistry/Biology).

PANELISTS

Peggy Paper is a Program Manager in Boeing's Intelligence Systems Group. She is responsible for the management of the Engineering Services Team working under multiple contracts within the Intelligence Community. Prior to her move into the management track, she was a Software Engineer for 17 years.

Peggy holds a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute and is a member of the PMI Washington DC Chapter. She also holds a CIO Certification from the Federal Government CIO Council.

Peggy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science degree in Technology Management both from George Mason University.

Kay A. Griffiths leads Boeing's National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Development team, which focuses on developing and integrating software systems for NGA programs. Prior to joining Boeing, Kay served on Active Duty with the US Navy flying the LC-130 with Antarctic Development Squadron Six (VXE-6) and deploying to Antarctica. She continues to serves in the Navy Reserve as a Captain and has been recalled to Active Duty twice, supporting Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia and Operation New Dawn in Iraq.

Kay holds certifications in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II in Program Management.

Kay earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics/Physics from Ripon College, Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and her Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
