Catherine R. Kimambo ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/catherine-r-kimambo-66153b148) is the Founder and Executive Director of African Child Projects (https://www.africanchildprojects.org/), an NGO that focuses on Bridging the digital divide and bringing internet access to communities in Tanzania by building digital societies. Our focus areas are around Technology, Education, Policy, Regulations and Rural Development in Tanzania. She is also Community Champion for the Common Voice project under Mozilla Foundation where she works on language inclusive AI technology with communities in rural Tanzania, She is a Community representative of Basic Internet Foundation (Norway) (https://basicinternet.org/) in Tanzania as a driver in Affordable Internet for all. Catherine is graduate of BA International Relations and Diplomacy, Nominee- WOMEN IN TECH AFRICA awards, an Alumni of YALI EA, European Youth Volunteer (Erasmus+ 2017 - Open Space Foundation in Bulgaria), 2022 Microsoft Startups Founders Hub and Member of Global Youth IGF.
