Tara Bucchi joined Aetna in 2005 as part of the Information Technology Leadership Development Program. Her experience over the past 12 years spans multiple IT disciplines including release management, testing, performance, data, and program management. In her current role, she leads planning and strategy, service management, and enterprise vulnerability (security) management for Aetna's Infrastructure and Development Services organization, while also acting as chief of staff to the vice president of the organization.

Tara has a strong passion for promoting a positive culture and helping others grow, just as she received throughout her own career. She is the chair of Women in Technology, a newly formed group that reaches over 1,200 women at Aetna. It's mission is to create impactful ways to enrich, advance and prepare women to expand their careers in technology by increasing skills, networking with others and providing development opportunities.

Former IT Executive on Wall Street, Marisa has a 21+ year corporate career and is a recent honoree of the "Women of Influence" award by New York Business Journals given her years of heart-centered mentoring and leadership programs for women in the workplace. She is the creator of The Gutsy Leadership System TM and founder of In Our Shoes TM, a professional development training and collaboration platform consisting of self-paced online courses and live training delivered through The Gutsy Leadership Academy TM, an online leadership school which promotes a global community for professionals to share their same struggles in a trusted safe environment.
