Teena Mrachek and Nikki Moore, co-Chairs of Otis’s global Women in Technology ERG, will speak to the benefits that they’ve seen first-hand, some of the challenges they’ve encountered, and how they aim to find a balance between global coordination and local impact through a range of different programs.

Teena Mrachek (she/her) serves as the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Otis in addition to leading the DT Early Careers program for interns and rotational leadership development associates. Prior to this role, Teena served as the chief of staff for the global CIO and was responsible for the coordination of communications, organizational effectiveness programs and leading all of the activities out of the Office of the CIO. Teena also serves as co-chair and founding member of the Women in Technology global and cross-functional employee resource group at Otis. Teena's career in technology spans over 24 years in the energy, aerospace and manufacturing industries, performing various IT roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of IT infrastructure, application development and project management. Teena earned a master’s degree in Business Analytics and Project Management from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is a certified SAFe 5 Lean Portfolio Manager (LPM), SAFe 5 Agilist (SA) and SAFe 5 Practitioner (SP) through the Scaled Agile Framework and is certified through the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Teena enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 3 children, traveling to beach and mountain locations to surf and snowboard.

Nikki Moore (they / she) is a passionate leader and global citizen. As Innovation Portfolio Manager at Otis Elevator, co-Chair of Otis’s Women In Technology ERG, and recent MBA graduate from the Tepper School of Business, Nikki thrives on exploration, challenges, and “firsts”. They joined Otis immediately after graduating from Cornell University in 2016 with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering, and since then have aimed to have a positive impact at Otis as a technical contributor through RRCA & quality improvement, new technology development, innovative test and capability development, and more. After 4 years of technical work, Nikki took on a role as Otis’s first Chief of Staff to the SVP Global Engineering, where they co-launched a global ERG for Women in STEM, created a new recognition program from the ground up, supported Otis Engineering’s environment and sustainability efforts, and more. Now, about 7 years into their career, Nikki is taking on global innovation for a Fortune 500 Company. Nikki is a proud materials nerd, advocate for underrepresented communities in STEM, mentor, sibling, partner, fantasy and sci-fi lover, and cat-parent.
