Tara Bucchi
Network Director

Tara joined Aetna in 2005 as part of the Information Technology Leadership Development Program. Her experience over the past 13 years spans multiple IT disciplines including release management, testing, IT operations, governance, program delivery, and infrastructure.

Previously, Tara drove the creation of a strategic enterprise release calendar allowing more flexibility and business value across the company. She also led the Program Management Office for Consumer Business and the "Next Generation Platform," and helped drive the transformation to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) at Aetna. In her current role, she leads Infrastructure Support services; delivering best-in-class infrastructure project/program services, always strives to exceed customer expectations, and ensures compliance and risk reduction across the enterprise. Her role also includes the chief of staff function (planning and strategy) for the VP of Infrastructure.

Tara has a strong passion for promoting a positive culture and helping others grow. She is the chair of Women in Technology, a group that reaches over 1,700 women at Aetna. Additionally, she is a Hartford network director for Women in Technology International (WITI). She enjoys volunteering in the community, promoting programs for girls in STEM, and mentoring early-in-career individuals. In her spare time, Tara gets exercise by chasing around her two young boys.

Preksha Patel
Corporate Partnerships and Alliances Chair

Preksha Palmer, Web Engineering Manager at Aetna has been in her current position for two years. She manages a team of engineers that support Aetna's web environment. Throughout her career, she has worked in various capacities including Application Development, Infrastructure Engineering and Management.

She is passionate about engaging girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and is a program lead for IT sessions during the YWCA Leadership Program summer sessions at Aetna. She is on the committee for Aetna's Women in Technology group and a Hartford Network Lead for the Women in Technology International organization. When possible Preksha helps volunteer at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp through Aetna's Volunteer organization.

Preksha received her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UCONN. Takes ballroom dance lessons with her husband and enjoys spending time with her three-year-old daughter.

Thu-Thuy Dinh
Public Relations and Marketing Chair

Thu-Thuy is an IT project manager in Enterprise Vulnerability Management, working to identify, coordinate and remediate security vulnerabilities at Aetna. A recent 2017 graduate of IT Leadership Development Program, which is an early-in-career program for professional growth and development through enterprise-wide experiences, stretch assignments, progressive rotations and extensive training opportunities. During the time in the program, she had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of areas including: Aetna International, business architecture, chief of staff support for the VP, Program Delivery and EVP, Operations & Technology.

Apart from the day-to-day work, Thu-Thuy also enjoys volunteering and engaging in the Aetna and IT communities. She is an avid member of the Society of Information Management (SIM) and Women in Technology International (WITI) as well as a contributing member of Aetna's Women in Technology group. She also assisted in recruiting and engagement for incoming IT LDPs and the veteran/AetVets community in the recent years.

Thu-Thuy received her Bachelors of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. In her free time, she enjoys trying new and different foods, travelling, hiking and running around with her rescue dog, Bogey!

Marianne Caridi
Membership Chair

Marianne Caridi is an IT and Engineering Staffing Professional with 20+ years of experience. Her energy and passion for connecting the best talent to her clients is what has made her successful in this industry. Marianne has become a trusted advisor to her clients and works alongside of them to build and plan their talent resource initiatives.

As Director of Sales for Talus Partners her role requires that she is always learning about new technology, connecting the dots, supporting clients hiring initiatives and staying ahead of the trends. Throughout her career, Marianne has guided and supported young women and those in transition. The goal being that they recognize their strengths and transferrable skills to identify the career path that will help them achieve financial security and find their professional purpose.

As Membership Chair for WITI she has been able to blend all her passions and help to build an even larger network of phenomenal women and men.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Southern CT State University in Communications and Marketing.

When she is not working she is an avid networker, volunteering for STEM programs, loves to travel, spend time with friends and family looking for a great meal with wine, reading and finally cuddling her lovely fickle feline Coppergirl.

Victoria Ragan
Events Coordinator

Victoria is a recent business graduate from University of Kansas and has been an IT Account Executive and solutions management professional at Randstad Technologies for 2 years.

Having been exposed to a plethora of technology capacities through select Fortune 50 clients including PMO services, Application Development, Service Assessments, Technology Deployments, Embedded Software Engineering, Victoria is able to assess unique environments and propose customized solutions fitting the project scope, budget, culture, and timeline.

Being a passionate promoter of gender equality, Victoria is excited for the opportunity working alongside like-minded individuals in technology and STEM. As the Events Coordinator for WITI, Victoria is able to bring together her passion for IT, organization skills, and love for event planning (and a good party) to help advance the involvement of IT women in the Hartford area.

When Victoria is not working, she can usually be found hiking, on the beach, wine tasting, obsessing over every single dog she comes across, and watching the KC Chiefs or KU Basketball depending on the season!

Isabelle Zarka
Sponsorship Chair

After an early career as an academic, both in France, her home country and in the USA, Isabelle Zarka joined a privately owned search firm where she held a variety of positions over the course of 10+ years. She started and led the division of the firm providing both direct hire and contract help in Engineering and Information Technology before serving as the VP of Operations for the entire organization.

Over 10 years ago, she moved to Corporate Recruiting in the Insurance sector and developed an expertise in Actuarial and Technology placements, particularly at the Senior Leadership and Executive levels.

She holds a PhD in Victorian Studies from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne.

When she is not recruiting for MassMutual, Isabelle likes to travel; she is also an avid amateur photographer and occasional artisan. She lives in Northwestern CT with her husband and two lovely dogs.
