She joined Weatherford in October 2014 to start an IT Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is committed to project excellence, building trusted partnerships and creating success for Weatherford.
She leads the D&I Program and Co-Chair for the Women of Weatherford (WoW). Her educational achievements include an MBA from LeTourneau University, a BA from Texas Southern University and Project Management Professional certifications. Shanta's purpose is serving and mentoring youth, women organizations and colleagues in a manner which empowers self-learning and strengthens capabilities.
Marjorie Farmer is currently a Product Manager for Software in the Cementing business unit of Halliburton. She graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University, and then came to Houston and worked several years as a software developer. Her career since then has included multiple different roles within tech, including project manager, IT manager, development manager, trainer, and Consultant. The largest project she has managed was a $50M project involving 250 people and 19 teams, which delivered successfully, on time. She has her PMP and Scrum Master certifications and speaks at Tech industry events on the subject of Agile Software Development.
Shaveta Bansal is an IT services professional with a proven track record of program & project management and business analysis. Having been with BP for over seven years, Shaveta is the head of cross-commodity and regulatory trading focused on energy domain specializing in delivering and implementing strategies for commodity trading, risk management, and regulatory reporting solutions.
Sonya Johnson has over 18 years of experience in Information Technology in the Energy Industry. She has dedicated her career in delivering results by leveraging her strong stakeholder management combined with functional business analysis and project management skills.
Sonya joined BP Energy Company in 2004 as a Business Analyst in the Integrated Supply and Trading organization and later moved into the roles of Project Manager and Agile Dev Ops Capability Lead. In mid-year of 2018 she has worked within the IT&S Upstream DigiPod team as Scrum Master/Project Manager working with stakeholders by applying design-led thinking and the latest technology to solve real business challenges.
