Building Meaningful Professional Relationships

Building and maintaining professional relationships is crucial for any person about to enter the job market, and looking to grow in their career over a long term. Among the many factors that can make or break a good relationship is the ability to build a memorable first impression. This is where your elevator pitch plays a role: a quick, well-crafted speech that helps you describe you and your work in a compelling way, that is true to who you are and what you stand for.

In this workshop for students, participants are taught the fundamentals of building meaningful relationships, including how to craft the perfect elevator pitch. We interactively walk you through the various factors that play a role in turning any connection you make into a long-lasting professional relationship, and help you pay attention to the really important stuff along the way.
