In addition, Kay has worked in the private sector advising small businesses on financing options for their businesses. She also participates in SBA-sponsored Access to Capital Workshops & Expo, as a speaker on sources of capital available for small businesses.

Jay Crews is a Business Development Officer at Gateway Business Bank (GBB), specializing in SBA guaranteed long-term financing to meet the needs of small business customers. GBB is a member of the SBA Preferred Lender Program. Mr. Crews keenly understands the pressures of being an entrepreneur, having owned and operated his own publishing company. Mr. Crews obtained a degree in political science from the University of San Diego in 1990 and earned his law degree from the University of Creighton School of Law in 1994.

Matt Crowley is a corporate lawyer who works closely with entrepreneurs. Mr. Crowley practiced securities, venture capital and mergers & acquisitions law in San Francisco with Pillsbury Madison & Sutro and Morrison & Foerster from 1993 to 2001, during the height of the dot.com boom. In 2001, Mr. Crowley took a senior management position with a client, Evoke Software, as their first general counsel. After assisting Evoke with positioning itself for sale in 2004, Mr. Crowley joined Technicolor's DVD manufacturing division ($2 billion annual revenue) as their lead lawyer. Mr. Crowley entered solo practice as a business lawyer for entrepreneurs in 2006.

Mr. Crowley received his business degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. Mr. Crowley earned his law degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1993.
