Michael Crandell is the CEO and a founder of RightScale, where he provides the vision and direction for the company as it pioneers innovative ways to bring the power of cloud computing to any organization. Crandell is a frequent speaker at cloud computing industry conferences, and he has played a major role in helping establish and promote openness and transparency in the cloud market. Prior to RightScale, he served as CEO at several Internet software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies and as executive vice president at eFax.com. Crandell received his B.A. from Stanford University and completed graduate studies at Harvard University.

Ida Kane is the chief financial officer (CFO) of RightScale and is responsible for the overall financial strategy of the company. She also directs RightScale's legal and administrative operations. Most recently she served as CFO and SVP of NASDAQ-listed thinkorswim Group Inc., a leading online brokerage and investor education firm, until its sale to TD AMERITRADE. Before thinkorswim she was a divisional CFO and VP of Operations at FranklinCovey. She also held various executive-level financial and operational management positions for other publicly traded and private companies. Kane received her M.B.A. and bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Miami, Florida, and earned her CPA license from the State of Florida.

Kim Weins is the vice president of Marketing for RightScale, where she helps build awareness of RightScale and demand for its award-winning cloud management solution. She has held executive marketing positions at a variety of enterprise software startups as well as public software companies. Most recently, as senior vice president of Marketing at OpenLogic, she helped evangelize and drive demand for open source and cloud technologies at large enterprises worldwide. She has also consulted as interim CMO at a variety of high-growth startups and she blogs frequently on lean marketing topics. Weins received a B.S. in engineering from Duke University.
