Nancy Richards
Nancy joined Liberty Mutual in early 2011, to lead the Organizational Change Management teams, having supported technology efforts in a variety of capacities including most recently development of a global Change Management consulting practice, serving Fortune 500 organizations. Her experience extends to Program and Project Management in a variety of industry verticals including healthcare, government, manufacturing and financial. Nancy’s energy comes from supporting organizations and individuals through the change curve brought about by technology.

Beth Montag-Schmaltz
Beth, founding partner of PeopleFirm, is a recognized researcher, practitioner, innovator, and thought leader in the field of adoption and change execution methodologies and tools. Throughout her 16 year professional journey, she has frequently been sought after to architect and manage complex change management programs for strategic and high-risk corporate initiatives. Prior to co-founding PeopleFirm, Beth was the vice president in charge of Hitachi Consulting’s Global Organizational Change Management Practice. In this role she built an industry-recognized comprehensive “best practices” approach to implementing change, all while maintaining hands-on relationships with her clients.



Charissa Jones
Charissa Jones, from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, stepped into a role created at the beginning of this year to help formalize the foundation’s commitment to building change management as an internal capability. As Organization Development Specialist she works to enhance the foundation’s capacity for change, maximize the speed of adoption, and minimize loss of productivity within a change-rich organization. She has responsibility for the change management methodology and tools, delivers role-based training in the methodology, builds centers of excellence within the foundation, and supports some projects with change management expertise. Charissa has worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for seven years within the Human Resources’ Talent & Organization Development group. In 2010 and 2011 she was part of the foundation’s change team that prepared employees for a major campus move.
